Getting active

Along with healthy eating, being active is an equally important part of the healthy weight equation. The energy (kilojoules) contained in the food that we eat needs to be used up on a daily basis in order to prevent weight gain.

It’s important when we consider physical activity to think about how we can be more active as well as how we can be less inactive or ‘sedentary’.
